An Important Ingredient For Having More Self Confidence!

Improving your self confidence levels won’t happen if you’re just a bump on a log.

Sorry, folks, but the idea of “lower the standard” or do away with the standard all together so the underachievers can feel good about their lack of accomplishment won’t get you anywhere in life except down a dead end road.

“For lack of vision, the people perish” is just as valid today as when it was written hundreds of years ago in the Old Testament.

One of the ESSENTIAL SKILLS and ESSENTIAL INGREDIENTS of having more self confidence is to actually have a vision, a goal in life that is congruent with YOUR values and ideals.

Not your parents’ or friends’ or teachers’ criteria, values, and ideals, but your own!

Most people, somewhere between 25 and 35 years of age end up losing sight of their hopes and dreams and they’re just like a dead campfire – just cold ashes of what “could have been”.

But it doesn’t have to be that way.

I really suggest you read Harry Browne’s book “How I Found Freedom In An Unfree World” as a good starting point.  Print copies of that book are sometimes hard to find, but it is now available as a pdf file for download.  Here’s the website you can order that book http://www.trendsaction.com/

I don’t make a dime by recommending that book to you.  I realize your political views might be different than Harry’s were, but it’s a real good thought provoking book.

I tend to be more of a conservative myself, but that book is absolutely priceless.

Then, once you learn how to free yourself from the belief and identity traps that most people don’t know about, I do have a real good course on how to achieve your goals.  I will tell you about it some other time.

For now, though, realize that if you’re going to improve your confidence, you MUST have a vision, a goal, a PURPOSE that you wish to accomplish.  Those with low confidence also have no expectations and no hope for the future.

GET A GOAL, A PURPOSE, A BURNING DESIRE, and FOCUS on it, while making sure it is congruent with YOUR values and higher ideals.

Most people want something for nothing, but the truth is 1) there’s no such thing as something for nothing, and 2) we’re ALL happier and more fulfilled when we’re working toward some purpose or goal and have something positive to look forward to.
